Application:

ME272 is used to separate nickel, cobalt and rare earth elements. It has high separation coefficient,can greatly reduce the extraction stages, reduce the amount of extractant, and has high product recovery.

It is mainly used for the separation and extraction of nickel, cobalt, rare earth and other metals. lt can also be mixed with ME507 to extract thulium, ytterbium and lutetium.

The separation coefficient of ME272 for nickel and cobalt is more than 20 times higher than ME501 under the same conditions, which is suitable for separating solutions with high nickel and low cobalt. Moreover, ME272 has no extractability for calcium, and the stripping of iron can be carried out in low concentration sulfuric acid. lt is completely miscible with ester and aromatic diluent, and has good stability and low water solubility. ME272 can separate nickel and cobalt in sulfuric acid system and chloride system.
